On the day
Who looks after the children?
Parents look after the children for the whole party. Laura looks after the party: the set-up, the order of the day and the pack-down.
Does Laura serve drinks?
Laura doesn't sell, serve or supply alcohol; drinks come from your venue or a bar you book.
Who provides the food?
Food and drink are yours to buy, from your venue, a caterer or the shops. On The Party Day, Laura keeps the food timings in the order of the day.
Can Laura book a bouncy castle?
Laura doesn't hire or run inflatables. If an inflatable firm is on the shortlist Laura gives you, it shows a PIPA tag or ADIPS declaration.
Is Laura the registrar or the venue?
No. Laura runs the day: the run sheet, each supplier's arrival and the order of the day. She isn't the registrar, the celebrant or the venue.
Booking
How far ahead should I book?
The Party Plan: at least 2 weeks before the party. Styled and Set: at least 3 weeks. The Party Day: at least 4 weeks. The Wedding Day: at least 8 weeks. Planned Together starts 3 months before.
How many guests?
The Party Day: up to 50 guests. The Wedding Day: up to 60. More than that is Something bigger, with a written quote, worked out at £30 an hour.
Can I just have the plan?
Yes. The Party Plan is fully remote: a 45-minute video call, then a plan pack you carry out yourself, within 5 working days of the call.
